Good Afternoon Kevin,
Thank you for your letter regarding members of the New Zealand
Firefighters Welfare Society coming to stay at our Resort in Australia.
We are happy to give you as much information about Diamond
Cove Resort, but we are not willing to sign an agreement as such. Please

This shows current and new season rates and as per our home
page gives an overview of Diamond Cove Resort, being a family orientated resort
with 1, 2 and 3 bedroom fully self contained units. We are in a great
location in the heart of Mermaid Beach on a quite street just off the Gold Coast
Highway. We are about a 10-15min car ride to Surfers Paradise and have a
local bus stop at the top of our street.
As per your list of questions in your letter:
1. We would be happy to offer a financial discount to
your members - 5% discount at any time of year, subject to
availability.
2. Facilities at Diamond Cove are our 30m lagoon style
pool, which is heated accordingly all year round. Spa and BBQ
facilities. We are located on the Gold Coast, only minutes from patrolled
beaches, shopping centres, restaurants, the casino and convention centre, as per
our website.
3. The only condition we require would be a 3 night
minimum stay. We do not accommodate anything less.
4. These benefits would apply all year round, subject to
availability. When a member is calling, they would have to advise they are
a member from your society.
5. Regarding the AFS approved emergency evacuation
scheme - it is in hand with our Body Corporate.
